MATHS TASKS

As it is the Maths stage we are now working on,
I would like to invite all partner school pupils and teachers to publish their tasks for other pupils to solve.

The rules are:

1. It is only possible to publish a new task when the previous one has been solved!

2. when you publish your answer, please identify yourself by giving your first name and country.

3. when you add a task, make sure you add the name of your school.

Ready? Let's begin!

  1. TASK 1 (from Copernicus School):

    It's a winter morning.
Ten kids decide to go out and have a snowball fight.
They all prepare the same number of snowballs.
Then, everyone throws two snowballs at each of the participants.
After this part of the fight, a quarter of all snowballs remains.

    Question:

How many snowballs did each child make?
